National BCA 9c & Certification Seminar/Workshop Registration

The Australian Government Department of Health & Ageing (DoHA) in conjunction with the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) are pleased to announce a series of National Seminars and Workshops that are aimed at further clarifying the Building Code of Australia provisions for Class 9c buildings and their relationship to the Aged Care Certification Assessment Instrument.

These full day seminars will not only offer vital information on the design, construction and certification of BCA 9c Aged Care Buildings but also provide you with an opportunity to provide feedback on the current BCA 9c provisions.

The seminars are aimed at those involved in the designing, building or approving of aged care buildings, including architects, building surveyors, services engineers, aged care service providers and allied professionals.

They will provide information on the Australian Government Aged Care Certification policy directions and the ABCB role in developing the BCA 9c. The BCA 9c and Certification pictorial presentation of newly constructed Aged Care Homes combined with the workshop will provide further clarification in a practical and supportive environment.
